For all the questions you might be asking about my day sorted

  • "The day-of coordinator is responsible for the flawless execution of the already-made plans"

Have you ever wanted to just clone yourself? My aim is to work with you to understand your wants, hopes and timelines of your day (including any special touches) so I can be an extension of you to execute your vision so you can just enjoy your big day. Why would you want to be the host when you could be the Guest of Honour?

  • Short answer, absolutely. If you trust Aunt Coral to be there for bump in, brief your vendors, set up the cake in the spot you wanted it to be, arrange the reserved signs on your ceremony seats, make sure the MC is getting up to speak when they need to, ensure vendors are fed and keep the night to time while also trying to enjoy the evening, go for it!

From my experience though, as helpful as family members are in the lead up, you want them to enjoy their evening as if they've helped that much in the lead up they deserve to enjoy it as much as you do. If they want to help during setup they can, but once the festivities kick off you'll really want someone separate from your wonderful family and friends keeping an eye on everything.

  • My specialty lies in the final nitty gritty details; finalising vendor information, logistics and helping bring your vision to life. If you are in need of a specific type of vendor wrangling and need me earlier, I can absolutely be there for you sooner. The majority of couples just need someone to finalise a run sheet, let them know where the holes are in their planning and be there for them on the day which is where I come in.

  • Take a deep breath and be comforted that most people haven't done this before. It is a lot of pressure to pull together one of the most important days of your life for the first time and do it perfectly. For all of my clients I will send through planning document templates (Run Sheet, Shot List, Contact Sheet, Packing List and Task Tracker) to help you pull together the final details of the day.

The Ruby Package is my most popular. Once everything is locked in, I'll send the planning templates and guide you on how best to use them. Two weeks before the day, we'll review the documents and address any questions you might have. I'll handle final details with your vendors to ensure a smooth event and meet with you a week before for final preparations. On the day of the event, I'll be there to execute your vision while ensuring your glass is topped up.

  • Oh do I! I have had the privilege to work with some fabulous events-related companies over the years. While I don't offer full-scale wedding planning, you can be sure that these guys have your best interests at heart and execute your vision.
